How To Stop Overthinking
If you are constantly overthinking, don't worry, you're not alone! When we're faced with worry, anxiety, and overthinking, we need to pause and remember the promises of God for our life. Rather than giving in to our self-defeating thoughts and negative self-talk, God has given us scripture to remind us that everything is going to be ok.
Here are some of my favorite scriptures that will help us to stop overthinking today:
1 Peter 5:7 NLT
"Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you."
Matthew 6:25-27 CSB
"Therefore I tell you: Don't worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food and the body more than clothing? Consider the birds of the sky: They don't sow or reap or gather into barns, yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you worth more than they? Can any of you add one moment to his life span by worrying?"
